Today we had lazy Sunday afternoon band practice in our living room. It's never too early to introduce music into our children's growing vocabulary.
Sidney discovered that she plays a mean kazoo!
Next, Aria showed off her skill on the xylophone.
However, I apparently need a little work in the 'encouraging parent department.' She was so underwhelmed by my complimenting her effort that she nonchalantly picked up the xylophone and hauled it over the wall as if it was something she HAD to do!
She later sternly explained to me that she has little interest in being my dancing monkey! She plays for herself only!
And Vivian....our dear sweet Vivian tickled the ivories and showcased her willingness to embrace her inner diva with a flare for the dramatic.
In this video, she works on a new masterpiece while at the same time, a second-rate kazoo player tries to slip on to the top of the piano and steal her thunder.
She was having none of that! (Although they did get a few fist bumps in before she finally had her piano all to herself again.)
She would like you all to know that she don't play no backup to nobody!!!!

Okay between your hearty laughs and the Girls Gone Wild fistacuffs these were too damn cute. I laughed throughout. Also when did Aria's hair go all wild like that? They are all so cute and ACTIVE.
